I am invoking the Zokutou clause for Nanowrimo this year. Simply put, it means that I will commit to finishing Rakkot Eyes, which I began during Nanowrimo in 2004. In 2004, it was part of a larger novel, which I’ve realized spanned too long of a period for one novel. I’ve split it into several parts, the first of which will be Rakkot Eyes.
My word count is currently 24, 370.
My goal for this month is to hit 50K
My goal for November will be to write another 50K, putting me at a total of 100,000. That should, after editing, give me a decent length for submission to agents.
