Have you ever heard of such a thing? According to Wikipedia *, the interrobang was invented in 1962 by Martin K. Speckter. The purpose of the interrobang is to denote such sentences which require both a question mark and an exclamation point.

The interrobang has never caught on as a standard punctuation mark, although it’s part of Microsoft’s Wingding 2 collection.

Grammatical rules state that the exclamation point is enough when writing an exclamatory question.

I had no idea that a word existed for this combination of exclamation point and question mark.
